Edit Shape of a Roof

So Revit has this cool feature where you can edit the shape of a floor or roof by adding points and split lines. Is there a way to edit the top portion of a flat roof so it does slope but keep the bottom flat? It slopes with the top and I do not want this. Thanks in advance.

Yes, you use the same tool, but you edit the structure of the floor or roof assembly and click the variable box in the thickness parameter of the layers you want to have stay flat on the bottom.

I think you need check the variable box in the layer of the material you
want to slope.

For example: Tapered insulation on Metal Deck - The tapered insulation
will have variable checked while metal deck will be constant
