Edit ootb NCS elevation tag

I want to add a label to the NCS elevation tag so that I can type in a room number in the top portion of the tag, similar to adding an attribute in AutoCAD. Is this possible? I am just starting out with Revit and definately stumbling through the customization portion of the program...thanks

First, I have added the process to create an Elevation Tag is needed:

http://docs.autodesk.com/REVIT/2011/ENU/filesUsersGuide/WS73099cc142f487551d68dd061249d36330f-6cf7.h...

Next, keep in mind the pointer orientation as described in the following post:

http://revitclinic.typepad.com/my_weblog/2011/01/custom-elevation-tag-pointer-family-orientation.htm...

Lastly, specifically for adding a portion of editable text, you can add fixed plain text to the elevation family.  However the Elevation Labels are limited to the following fields [you cannot add new labels in this type of family]:

Detail Number
Reference Label
Referencing Detail
Referencing Sheet
Sheet Number
View Name

Unfortunately it is not possible to add a shared parameter or similar to allow for a custom text field [as some other family types].  I would recommend requesting this feature at the link below:

Thank you,
