edit nested family

i have a generic annotation family in a titleblock. when that titleblock is
in a project, i would like to be able to pick that nested family from the
project browser to edit, but i don't see it.

i don't want to have to edit the titleblock family just to edit this nested
family.

any suggestions here/

Not sure of what you are trying to do with the nesting, but, does the nested Generic Annotation have the "Shared" box checked under Settings/Family Category and Parameters/Shared? IF so I have no answer, if not, edit the nested family, check, reinsert it, and see if you can tag to select the nested annotation to edit it. Not sure if Annotation families, especially within a titleblock will act the same as other family types. The combination of an annotation family, and a Title Block Family, may negate this ability.

that was exactly it, thank you Scott.

basically, we are putting a placemarker in the
titleblock that the PA can directly edit from the project browser instead of
having to open the titleblock, then open that object.

just trying to save some steps, and confusion.

Make the parameters Shared, then add them to the titleblock itself. If it is to be edited for all the sheets simultaneously, then add it to the Project Paramters catagory when you add the shared parameters to the project as well. Then going to Project information, and editing them, would change them everywhere.
