hi to all.
i am using revit and am trying to achieve medium easy roof shape see file what i am trieng to achieve.jpg however with revit it becomes super complicated - problem.jpg i can not get rid of inside roof part - this is done with roof by foot print and then join roofs.
please help me.
This easiest way to achieve this kind of roof shape is probably by using the shape editing tools for roofs. Draw the footprint of the roof dead flat and then use the shape editing tools to add points where you will need to make adjustments to form the back slope and the gable on the end. Then edit the points into position where you need them. The flat roof slab will bend into position.
This example took me about 1 minute to build.
The video shows it in 3d and shows how I can edit the points on the roof to change the shape/slope.

I imagine this could be done without shape editing but it might require some roof joining and possibly the use of a void object to "cut out" the left over roof portions.
super thanks for your advice. I used slope arrow. http://www.revitcity.com/forums.php?action=viewthread&thread_id=27913 your sollutionis more generic - suitable for all situations.
