Driveway in Revit

Is there now a standard procedure to create a sloping driveway in Revit ??

Welcome to the forum Steve.

Super easy to make sloped floor. Make your concrete
slab driveway, usually on the ground, and before
you finish your sketch lines, hit "Slope Arrow" on
the Modify ribbon.

Then from the center of one end of the driveway
draw the arrow to the other end.

Then just look over on the properties pallet and
see the settings for tail height and head height
and offset etc. Then click the green check on the
ribbon and you got it.

A pad or a floor element can be used to create a drive if it is one element and pretty much one slope.  If you need the drive to follow contours or curve you can use a sub-region on the toposurface and then assign a different material to the subregion.

One of the most important short videos available, must see for everyone.

The link seems to be broken to the video you mention. Can you repost?

If you want to make a road, sidewalk, drive, etc. that actually follows topography, spend an hour and a half watching this video and learning about a lot of intricate, convoluted, time consuming work-arounds. It's Revit magic.

That link went to the old wikihelp.  Check this new video playlist in the Revit online help.  The video is on the site design tab of the playlist page.
