Dimensions

How do I create aligned dimensions. I have drawn a line in an angle of 45 and would like to dimension the line.

Use the Aligned button on the Dimensio Option bar and tab each end to get the end grip dots. This works with model & detail lines or arcs

Thank you for your answer. It works in some cases, but not in all. Then I have to measure the length of the line and draw a ny line, in the other end of the drawing. The new line I can dimension and move in right place. I am sure it is the most difficult way I do it, but it works.
Thank you again.
