Dimension Stacked Walls

I have created several stacked walls in my model and I am to the point of dimesioning my walls. I am wanting to dimension to the centerline (core) of walls; however, when I try to dimension a stacked wall it won't give me the choice to dimension to the core centerline. Has anyone had this problem or found a solution?

Thanks for the help!

Are you dimensioning in plan or section?

Depending on where the stacked wall is cut in plan, because it really is several standard walls “stacked” on top of each other, Revit may not be able to calculate the core centerline.

If you set the dimension to Center of Core, and use the TAB key does it still not choose an appropriate option?

Also you could try changing the View properties > View Range > Cut Plane, to see if you cut through one of the other walls of the stacked wall if the results are the same.

Thank you,

Ryan Duell
