Deleting Recovery Files

Hi! Does anyone know how to delete Revit recovery files off of your desktop? Revit fatally crashed, asked me if i wanted to save a recovery file, i said yes, recovered my data, did a "save as", and then closed out. When i went to throw away the Revit recovery file from my desktop (that I no longer needed) my recycle bin got like 98% of the way and then got stuck there in a perpetual throw away cycle and didn't get rid of the file. Eventually (after many hours) I had to cancel the emptying of the recycle bin and now I'm left with that recovery file still in the bin. And, I can't throw away anything else unless I take the Revit recovery file back out of the trash. So irritating! How do I chuck this file once and for all?!!

try this. search for:

GiPo@MoveOnBoot

and download it.

It's a nice utility that can delete/move/rename stuck files at reboot. I seem to need it a lot for my frozen revit files.
