Hello,
I would like to ask if there is a possibility to create custom weather data in Autodesk Revit 2015.
I tried "Analyze - Energy settings - Location - weather" (see attachment), but I can only import Dry Bulb, Wet Bulb and Mean Daily Range data.
Is there a way to import wind and humidity data?
I would be grateful for any reply,
John
Not sure about relative humidity--but if you are on subscription, you can access Autodesk 360 cloud analysis, which provides wind data.

Thank you very much for your quick reply.
Is there a way to import specific weather data (not weather station data) in a project?
ie to import specific values for temperature, humidity and wind and not from a weather station.
I would be grateful for any reply,
John
I don't think you can import custom data into Revit.
However, I think you can use export to gbxml and Green Building Studio, or Ecotect Analysis to perform more detailed studies.

Hi,
You can use Energy Analysis tool in Revit in Analyze tab to see more Weather data and charts in Revit. Please sse the following links about the process and let me know if you need any help in creating the charts.
1- Go to Autodesk Green Building Studio Page and sign in.
2- Go to Project Solon, From topo right botton on GBS website.
3- Follow the instruction on this video to set weather data as the main runset option for your project. https://www.dropbox.com/s/u1byi85k6msbv25/Project%20Solon-Runsets.wmv?dl=0
4- try to create your own runset and use it for every project that you need.
Let me know if you need any help on doing the process.
We are collecting feeback on Solon via Autodesk Labs.
We would love to hear your thoughts.
I understand how to set custom values for different parameters (roof construction, glazing type etc), but I can't find a way to set custom values for weather parameters (temperature, wind speed, humidity etc) - see attachment.
More specifically, I have performed in situ measurements for external temperature, wind speed and humidity and I want to import these values in my project to analyze the internal situation. Is it possible?
Thank you very much for your interest.
Ioannis
Hi Iaonnis,
I think now I understand your question. Currently, there is no way to use customized weather infomation with Green Building Studio.
Hi Ioannis,
I would like to inform you about the GreenButton which is available in GBS classic. This feature is designed to help users automate and streamline the process of synchronizing utility data and historical building performance to simulation which in the past has been a very manual and labor extensive process.
You can learn more about GreenButton from the following links and videos:

Hi, I also felt frustrated when important weather data like the Diurnal Weather Average and Humidity Graphs "Dissappeared" along with all the graphics (Missing my PES Chart also) in the clasic Result and Compare window within Revit. Solon will only give temparature.
I found a work arround to get the Weather Graphs, Select two runs in the Result and Compare interfase, and compare them. Most of the charts are gone (EUI, PES, etc) but you can get the ones for weather
Hope they fix this soon
Dear Mr. Mohammad Rahmnai Asl,
I would like to ask the customized weather data replied by you on 10-06-2014. Is the customized weather information available in Green Building Studio Project Solon or Autodesk Revit version 2019?
Looking forward hearing from you. Thank you.
Regards,
Thum
