To expand on Aaron's post...use custom ballusters to create custom stair
content. Most of the time, we think of a balluster as just the vertical
post elements in a stair. In Revit, one 'balluster' can contain the
balluster, the tread, the riser, etc. Really anything that repeats on a
stair. There are some examples on www.AUGI.com in the Revit Forums.
