Curved tread issue

Why does my stair tread have that short line segment at the curve? I want just a curved side. See attached Revit 2013.

Thanks for posting the file, but can you post a screenshot showing, which line segment you are talking about?

This is because of the nosing .. check this image. If nosing is default & length is zero, then no gap is leftnosing.jpg

Thanks for the reply.  I don't understand why is doing that in 3D.  In 2D views it looks fine.

The nosing profile is not terminating into the riser.  Is there anyway to fix that in 3D without changing to the default nosing

and no length as you suggest?
