How then to do the integral gutter?

Thanks

for the integrated gutter:

  • after you made the Roof by Extrusion
  • Build > Component > Model in Place >Family Category and Parameters > Roofs ...Name..you can baptise it : interior gutter
  • choose Extrusion ...choose a profile view ( the elevation in wich you have drawn the roof profile) draw a rectangle (so to cut the roof profile ) and extrude it
  • Now from Properties > Identity Data > Solid/Void > select Void....
  • in a 3d View (axonometric view) select the roof and the extruded void ( they must intersect each other) and from Geometry apply Cut.
