As I recall, there is a way. ( RAC 2011--not sure about 2010)

Create a Mass, with the shape of your sketch on one of the faces.

Then convert the face of the Mass to a Curtain System.

Then, set the UV grids to the angle you need.

cheers

In RAC 2011, create an in-place Mass. Then edit in place, select the face. Next, Create  Divided Surface.

Then, turn off UV grids. Next draw Model Lines for the angled grid lines. Then, select the model lines and use "Intersects"

to define the pattern.

Once the grid lines are defined by Intersects, you can use a Pattern based curtain panel to create the curtain system.

A bit complicated, and lots of steps, but it can be done.

Another way would be to use an in-place family-generic model, if you only need one simple face like this.

Not as flexible, however.

Thanks for your reply,

I can follow up to define the grids

But i never have used a pattern based curtain panel, i tried but it will not follow my grids.

Can you explain this part for me?

1.You need to open a Curtain Panel-pattern based family, which is a new feature of RAC 2010-2011.

2. In this family, create an extrusion for the frame, and another for the glass. Make the overall dimensions

something close to the panel size you need in the project--say 5' x 10' or so.

3. Then save the curtain panel pattern-based family and load into your project.

4. Then in the project, edit the mass in-place, and tab until you select the Divided Surface.

5. Then, from the drop-down menu in the Properties box, scroll down and select your new curtain panel family.

6. Revit will then apply the new family to your Divided Surface.

hope that helps!
