Creating leaning windows and bays

Attached is an image of a building Im working on that incorporates leaning bays and windows. Ive tried different ways of creating these bay windows but Im still not sure if its the best way. Any thoughts? So far Ive tried:

1) Using masses to create the leaning walls but had trouble incorporating a leaning corner window.

2) Making the bays with extrusions as a wall-based family under a window category, but I had to break the bays in two because the symbolic lines showed the same for the first and second floor.

3) In-place families don't seem to work with legend components.

For those I would make a non-hosted window. Start with the generic family
template. Use settings > Family Category and Parameters. Switch to Window.
Design and then place you windows.

In the case of massing to create your curtain systems using face based method, you need to remove the end mullion between both faces and replace it with a single corner mullion. This will propably require a custom mullio to clean up correctly.

Thanks for the quick reply. Yes, generic was to be my next experiment, Im assuming I could drop them in my legend too.

Thanks for reply. I tried curtain systems but found that extruding the elements gave me a little more control.
