coversheet

I'm trying to make a full drawing set in revit. I made an annotation with all the coversheet info on it but can't put it on the sheet. How do I make a generic coversheet that has changeable elements per each project (like on a titleblock)?

I use a titleblock family and add the info as labels there so it can be modified as needed.

I know exactly what you mean unfortunetly this is not a two or three line explanation.

Yes, you need to create a Title Block Family with some Text, some Labels and some linework. Labels are the ones with the magic. They read your project specific information like Client, Project Name, Drawing Scale and lots more. It's not difficult.

The process is completely explained in a video tutorial (lesson 11) at the following location. The only thing is you will have to pay a nominal $20 for the subscription but then you will get all 28 lessons. Sounds like you are learning so this may be benificial.

The first 8 lessons are free for download.

Thank you. All I had to do was create a second titleblock for the project. I was able to add all sorts of parameters so I wouldn't have to retype all the info for later projects and still be able to edit things for my particular project. Thank you for the advice.
