Countertop "cleaning up" with walls

Having a slight clean-up issue with some countertops that I've not noticed before. I'm still new to Revit, so I'm sure I've made a mistake somewhere.

I have some typical countertops (the ones packaged with Revit) that have decided to merge with the surrounding walls.  I've included a couple of jpegs to show what I'm refering to.  With lineweights turned on, you can tell a difference, but with lineweights off, the lines disappear.  Is there a setting somewhere to define what cleans up with what that maybe I switched by accident?

Thanks in advance!

- Jason

I tried to reproduce the scenario in your screenshots and so far I have not been able to. Do you have a sample file you could provide so we can take a closer look?

The file attachment size on the forums is pretty small, so you might not be able to attach it here. If your file is too large, can you try hosting it somewhere else or using a free application like Dropbox?

Katie,

Thanks for getting back to me.  I'd gotten pulled off this job, but am toying with it again.  I've dumbed down the file, and thrown it into dropbox.  How do I go about getting it to you?

If you put it in a Public folder on Dropbox, you can provide a link to the file: How do I link to files in my Dropbox?

Thanks Jason. It looks like the reason for the display is because you have Walls and Casework set to Transparent. The parts of the counter top you're still seeing are the detail lines/masking outline in the family. There are no detail lines defined in the family for the backsplash, so those lines seem to disappear and join with the wall. If you go into Visibility/Graphics and clear the checkbox for Transparent next to Casework, you should see the lines appear again.

Please let me know if this helps!
