count polygons and vertices in revit family object

anyone take a wild guess at how you would count polygons and vertices in a revit family object? (besides trying to count all the lines manually)..

One possible solution is this: From a 3D view in Revit, in a project that contains a family, export the project as dwg, selecting the "Export as polymesh" option. Then, in AutoCAD, explode the object. Then select everything, and the command prompt or the properties window will tell you how many faces there are.
