Corrugated Roof Panel

Does any onde knows how to apply Corrugated Roof Panels instead of walls...as if it were walls in Revit?

Is there an easier way to do it without using curtain panels?

Welcome to the forum 🙂

First of all, do they need to be visible in 3D?

If not, use a basic wall with the relevant material to represent the panels in 3D, and simply add in the profile in 2D as a Repeat detail or line based detail family where required.

There are ALOT of occasions where you may think it is an absolute necessity to model to the highest level of detail, but it is very rarely the case. The biggest skill a BIM user can have is to know when NOT to model, and instead, simply detail.

You say "Is there an easier way to do it without using curtain panels?" Curtain panels is the easy way. What is it you are having trouble with using curtain walls?

Another option you can use would be to add a series of WALL SWEEPS on your wall. but this would be tedious and need constant updating

Another option would be to use a line based generic model family and add it onto the outside face of your walls, again though, this will be tedious manual work.

There are many ways, but, as i said, if you don’t need the 3D effect of the panels, then simply add in the profile detail where required in your sections/callouts.

Hope this helps
