Corner storefronts

Just switched the Revit from ADT. Love it so far but have a major problem.
What is the best way to create a corner storefront? I know in ADT I created
a massing element, placed it in the corner, performed a boolean subtract and
then placed window assemblies that were unconnected to the walls.

My walls are 16' tall and my storefronts go from ground floor to 9'-4" with
the brick wall continuing above. Any help would be MUCH appreciated.

i've handled this by selecting the solid wall(s), pick 'edit profile' from
the options bar at the top, sketch around where the corner glazing unit(s)
will be, then create a curtain wall for the glazing unit - for the corner
mullion use the 'corner mullion' under the modeling tab 'mullion' tool.
locking the sketch lines is optional of course.

works much better than the hack job I had to do in ADT;)

Thanks a bunch. That did the trick. I have alot to learn after years of ADT
but man Revit is so much easier to work with.

Until the next problem 😉

No Doubt. These curtain walls seem to be the biggest headaches for me so
far. I liked the way ADT used linework to create assemblies but I just
haven't quite figured them out yet in Revit.

"the way ADT used linework to create assemblies"
ya, when it worked. ok for simple configs. pain when they change in ADT.

"just haven't quite figured them out yet in Revit."
keep trying, it gets better! the first 10-20 or so are the trickiest.
