Copyright symbol in Revit Text field.

There should be a way to get the Truetype font symbols into Revit. Right now
I open Word and click on Insert>Symbol and place symbol in Word doc,
highlight it and c to copy to windows clipboard and then switch to
Revit and start the text command and v to paste it in the text field.
Isn't there a more direct way?

Thanks

Have you tried the keystrokes for special characters?

Copyright symbol = Alt + 0169

Or, open up the Character Map and drag and drop your symbols in

Drag and drop doesn't seem to work for all symbols. Try dragging (R)
registered and notice it appears in the text box, but once you finsh the
TEXT command it gets converted to some funny stuff â. Any idea...

Which font are you referring to? Are you sure you've got the same font selected? It is easy to browse the wrong font and try to use a symbol from its collection.

When I am trying to modify text notes, the © symbol gets inserted, but is not visible.  When I search for the symbol throughout the drawing it is visible, but in the text notes field it just creates a space instead of the symbol.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When you insert from another program such as word, the correct symbol will appear but once you click off it, the symbol reverts back to the character from the text style of the text block.  If you duplicate the style or edit it to use the correct font for the symbol you want (such as wingdings, etc.), it should work then.
