Convert Revit sheets to Autocad ( underlying shading disappears )

When converting a Revit sheet we can’t exact copy them to a Autocad file. A lot of projectpartners want to receive an Autocad file so it costs a lot of time to make a exact copy ( and there is a chance to make mistakes when I have to do it myself in Autocad ).

Especially the shading of underlying walls etc. is a problem.

What is the best DWG export setup for converting a Revit sheet to Autocad?

It looks like your main issue is with the wall, however it is a little hard to see exactly what you are referring to, would you be able to produce a simple sample in Revit, purge it before saving, then create the dwg and post those so I can see specifically what you are referring to.

In AutoCAD, there is a variable that affects the scaling of hatch patterns, which might be causing this issue. That variable should be set to work for metric or imperial. I don't remember the name of the variable, sorry, but you could find it in the help documents of AutoCAD.

I just ran some test and I got good results if you use the {Automatically generate hatch pattern option}

Automaticly generate hatch doesn't work for us.

Maybe i should clarify the problem a bit.

Hatch paterns from walls witch are cut (in plan view) aren't the problem. The walls that are projected (so the cut hight is above the wall) are the problem.There is even a transparent floor above the wall that is projected.

The essence realy is that we want the same representation from a sheet in revit, in AutoCAD.
