Constructing an arch

Hi

I need to construct an arch in revit but Ive only been able to make a curved beam in the wrong plane. Whats the best way to make an arch so that it would look like a straight beam in plan view?

It needs to connect to ground level in two places and have a specific height if thats relevant.

Thanks

From a plan view, create a grid line. From an elevation view, create reference planes as a guide to create the beam with the proper dimensions. Then use the beam tool, using the grid as the workplane, and draw the sketch for the beam with the arc drawing tool, using the intersection of the reference planes.
