Comparing Design Options

The Revit Help file gives instructions for comparing different desgn options in different views, as below:

1. In the Project Browser, select a view that contains the design option.

2. Right-click the view name, and click Duplicate ViewDuplicate, or Duplicate with Detailing.
Create as many duplicate copies of the view as necessary. You can rename the views to reflect the design option they will show. Right-click the view name, and click Rename. Enter a name for the view, and click OK.

3. Open one of the duplicate views.

4. Click View menu Visibility/Graphics.

5. Click the Design Options tab.

6. For each design option set, select the design option you want to display in the view. If the design option set is specified as Automatic, visibility defaults to the primary option.

7. Click OK.

8. Repeat the same steps for each view in which you want to show a different option.

9. If desired, add the views to a sheet, which you can print and present to a client.

When I do the above steps, every time I go into Visibility/Graphics and change the design option for that view, it changes it for EVERY view. So I cannot set-up a sheet showing all design options.
How to fix?

Only use "Duplicate" or "Duplicate with detailing".....do not use "Duplicate
as a Dependant" otherwise one view is dependant on the others...all changes
in one reflect in the others.
