When I click on the satellite dish in the bottom right corner, the
Communication Center box appears.
The settings are set for Country = UK and Check for new content = Daily and
Balloon notification is selected. The Channels box is empty, the are no
listings.
The Communication Center advises me Last updated 01/01/70, 00:00:00.
When I click Refresh Content, the window appears with scrolling coloured
boxes, then an information box advising No internet connection available.
I am on broadband and surfing the net OK.
I am using McAfee VirusScan Enterprise + Anti-Spyware Module 8.0.0.
Product Information about my Revit Architecture Suite 2008 is product
version 2008.0.0, Product Serial Number 000-00000000 (I have the DVD and
serial number in teh yellow sticky on my desk in front of me, but cant
change the value). The license type is Standaolne - Locked, License behavior
= Permanent, License expiration date = None.
I am using Windows XP Professional.
I think I have included the most relevant clues, any ideas why I cant check
for updates ?
