Column

Have a few RHS and concrete columns by itself but the cut pattern does not show even if i have changed the graphic properties of it. How to turn on the pattern?

2.   column lineweight does not change even though lineweight under the Object Styles has been modified.

As you describe the facts , it seems that the column is not really cut, but it is seen by above..

I suggest to verify again in Properties:

1.  the Base Level and Base Offset ,  the Top Level and Top Offset of the Column ( with the column selected)
2. and the View Range of the View (with no entity selected)
