Does anyone know where this plugin can be obtained from? A search in the 'Exchange Apps' brings up IFC 2013 & 2014 but not the Toolkit and whilst a web search will find mention of it with ease all seem to lead to a video of how it is used.
Frustrating to say the least.
Hi,
I actually downloaded it yesterday in the following link:

Good Luck

Thanks for the information. I have downloaded the IFC 2015 having followed the 'IFC Exporter for Revit (Revit App Store)' link to it, however having installed it I expected to see it on the 'Add-Inn' tab but nothing! Any ideas?
its the path of your .addin file.
in your folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Autodesk\COBie Extension\2015\shell
cut the .addin file and paste it in C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\Revit\Addins\2015
Open the file .addin in notepad and change the path of the assembly:
<Assembly>C:\Program Files (x86)\Autodesk\COBie Extension\2015\COBieExtension2015.dll</Assembly>
-you dont need the shell folder anymore so you can delete it.
Hope this helps.
Kudos if it worx
Thanks for the info but unfortunatelly the "C:\Program Files (x86)\Autodesk\COBie Extension\2015\shell" you mention is absent. Have done a search of my system for 'Cobie Extension' and found nothing.
Also had a look in the "C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\Revit\Addins\2015" folder just out of curiosity, and whilst I have a number of addins on my Revit Tab, the folder was empty.....
Any other suggestions very welcome
Just decided to download the '2015 Cobie Toolkit for Revit ' again and installed it, again. Then got the following dialog ( see image)
Any further help before I lose all my hair would be greatly appreciated!
download and paste the file inside the folder: C:\Users\""your username""\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\Revit\Addins\2015
make sure that the .dll file is located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Autodesk\COBie Extension\2015\
Both the files you mention are alraedy in place and on opening Revit again I have got the COBie Extension! Thanks for your help it is much appreciated.
