Yes, I believe if you use the same material name you will not end up with
two different instances of your CMU wall. It should work if you change the
material name. I recall that is what I had to do inorder to get two styles
of siding to show up in the same drawing.

Please tell me if i'm missing something obvious here.
my request is very simple
need to create two separate wall types
one with 8" CMU running bond and the second with 8" stack bond
i did that and went to edit the structure material i left the first by its
default at running bond and changed the second material as stacked bond (p.s
i'm using the same material name though and changing the patterns only)
could this be the problem and what is the solution
