Cloud rendering Lighting Problem

Hello. I am having 2 different problems relating to lights and rendering in the cloud. First, in some of my views I am getting this bizarre grey artifact floating in the air if the lights are turned on. If I turn them all off, the artifact disappears. The other issue I am having is that sometimes lights render as black and other times not. I have seen things online which suggest it has something to do with this post:

However, these lights don't have tilt angle as one of the available parameters. These are all lights that I built using the generic light family template.

I am having the same issue. it seemed tied to the size of the light symbol object....i attempted to chang that to a smaller size but still seems to show up. this only occurs from cloud rendering
