Ceiling/Roof Joist Connections

Is there an easy way to make a ceiling in a room that is built within the roof - ie. I have a flat portion of ceiling at 8'-0" but my walls around the side are at 4'-6" so i will have the flat portion at 8'-0" then sloping drywall on the underside of roof joists down to my walls.

When i make the ceiling it of course shoots through the roof - i was hoping for an "Attach" feature, but no luck - is this something i am going to have to use reference panes and model it that way - or is there some genius thing within Revit that can accommodate for this?

This pretty much happens on every job i do, so i am hoping for an easy solution. Thanks.

Ideally, i would also like it if where the sloping roof and the flat roof intersected had a dashed line in plan?

Thanks, Brian
