Can you make a halftone hatch with adjustable transparency?

Hello there!

Can you make a halftone hatch? Or a region where you can adjust transparency?

For example in plan view. I want to add a filled hatch region there but also want to let objects behind the hatch to be visible too.... halftone.

In printing the hatch region becomes non-halftone, I think? Or is there somehow possible to remain it? Greyscale printing perhaps?

Thanx if you figure out this problem!

See the attached for an adjustable transparent filled region.

Let me know if this helps and thanks for posting.

How can this transparency be applied to a hatch pattern used in a Color Scheme, or is this possible?

Hello ,

Can you have different linestyle, line weight and line color inside an hatch pattern our filled region pattern.

I know it is not possible in a .pat but did you find another way to do it?

Can pyRevit can do it?

Thanks

Place one filled region on top of another and adjust transparency.  Not sure about pyRevit.  Why don't you ask the author via his website?
