Can we put stringers on ramps

Has anyone ever designed a railway footbridge, if so you know what im talking about, we need stringers on the ramp sections

A solution can be using Model in Place:

Architecture> Component > Model in Place > Generic Models > Sweep..

This other solution has the advatange that the stringer will follow the ramp even if the ramp is edited. It's a profile family, used as the only element of a railing type, hosted by the ramp.
