Can't join stairs with walls and floors

I don't know if this has been said before, but I believe it's a nice
wishlist item. Revit doesn't join stairs and walls or floors. The image
shows the problem. Someone used magic to put the floor finish (tile perhaps)
under the stairs. Also you can see the line between concrete stairs and
concrete wall.
Am I missing something? Is there a good reason for this?

In reality, you would see a line between the concrete steps and the concrete
wall. How do you think they would form this condition.. Altogether? LOL. I
think not. Typically vertical structure is formed and poured before anything
elese. After forming the vertical wall, typ. A contractor will leave the
Rebar sticking out of the wall and up from out of the floor for a later
connection to the stairs. This is standard construction practice and can be
found in a number of different places. So you would see a "joint" of some
sort at these conditions. As far as the tile is concerend (seemes like
someone made a boo boo)

I think JTB meant "join" in the sense of the way Revit joins walls to floors - there is a joint but it should not be profiled with the heavy line. Any drafter knows this but apparently Revit does not.

The linework tool will make quick work of that...

Thanks for the great tip! - I didn't know about the linework tool. I just started using it and it really helps. ( although I don't understand why I sometimes can't pick the line segment I want.)
