callouts like xrefs?

I'm trying to link my detail callouts to the wall sections they came from. With AutoCAD I was able to xref the section and xclip it, then blow it up to the detail scale. Is it possible to do something similar using Revit? Ideally I want my enlarged detail callout to be linked to the wall section it came from, so that I can change detail components in either view and it gets changed in the respective view. So far, I am having to copy and paste my detail lines from wall sections to my callouts because the callouts don't transfer any details. In other words, I want to be able to take a portion of my section and enlarge it for detail notes, and only have to make changes in the section view, so that the changes are linked to the enlarged view. Is there any way this works in Revit?

Take the linework in your section and make a group of it. Paste that group
into the detail. Changes to the detail group will be reflected in both
section and detail. You can use this grop in other views as well of course.
