Calculation of the double face of a wall,

I’m wondering if there is a way to calculate the area of double face of a given wall. For exam, say that we have a wall of 4x4x0.1 meter then the area of one face is 16m2 while the double face is 32m2. Does the Revit calculate the double face of a given wall?

How this issue is handled in the Revit?

Why do you actually need the double face area? Provide your wall type with finish layers on both sides of your wall and do your wall material takeoff. The field material:area gives you the double area if you use the same layer material on both sides of the wall.

Sure, for example, the painting should be added to the cross section of the wall on both sides and thus will be calculated in both faces! Logic!
