Cad export to 3d face

Hi all:

I am a LDD user but just got a converted Revit file (a site plan) and many of the 'lines' are 3D faces. Could you tell me why this occurs. The 3D faces are curb islands in a parking lot (and other curbs), and for what I need to do they need to be arc's and lines. I will have to re-draw unless I can explain to the Architect how to convert. I am trying to get a little info here so I 'kinda' know what i'm asking for.

Thanks,
Lynn

Revit can export 3D faces. Or solids. Or 2D lineswork. But not all at the
same time. So you may need several views exported to get what you want.
