building pad - legend

Is there a way to create some sort of a legend / "color scheme" that auto lists the different building pads used?

If not: I'm curious how you guys give the information needed?

Presentation should be similar to a color scheme

square filled with the material ---- name

square filled with the material ---- name

square filled with the material ---- name

etc.

Manual task or can this be done faster?

I am not aware of any automatic process for doing this.

A way in which the process can be efficient even though it means manually creating a Legend would be to save it into the company's RVT template.

Then you will be able to use it on multiple projects and maintain the consistency in the drawing styles across all your projects.

Apart from that you might want to also create or import some custom Patterns in your project template and create the building legend in accordance to these.

Like your thought there. Doing this once for the more common building pads and keep that legend in our template is worth the effort.

Would have been nice though if this could be automated. As in color scheme with rooms.
