Border Tile of Pattern Based Curtain Panel

I have created a Pattern Based Curtain Panel as shown on the right.

And it is applied to a conceptual mass model as shown on the left.

My problem is that even though I set the "border tile" as "Partial" at the conceptual mass,

there are only some of the border tiles are able to shown as "partial".

I don't know if it is because of the cone shape of the mass or some other reasons.

Does anyone have a solution for this?

Is this Revit 2010?  This problem happens sometimes depending on the geometry of the surface and the panel.  The behavior is better in 2011 and adaptive components go a long way to fix the problems that still exist.

You can try changing the size of the U,V grids and you might get better results.

Yes it is 2010.

I end up work around it by seting instance visibility parameters to each side of the panel and fix the panel piece by piece.

but it took me some time to do so..
