The last time I was getting the BSD, it went on for months intermittantly.
The cryptic error messages pointed to a device problem. Finally my hard
drive failed. I haven't had the BSD since. In the mean time I was
associating the BSD with all the wrong things. Good luck.

I downloaded the student version of revit 2008 here from the autodesk
website. The program dowloaded without any problems (I've uninstalled and
reinstalled a few times, so not the problem there). Anyway, it opens a blank
template and then..blue screen (stop error):
"A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent
damage to your computer...if a driver is identified in the stop message,
disable the driver or check with the manufactureer for driver updates. Try
changing video adapters. Check with your hardware vendor for any BIOS
updates...Technical information:STOP: 0x0000008E (0xc0000005, 0xBF8EEAE3,
0XB74B90EC, 0X00000000)"
This screen only appears for a moment then restarts my computer. Any ideas
what this could be or where i can fix it, thanks for the help.
