Blank Ceiling Height Value

Hello,

With no luck, I have been trying to figure out how to insert a blank value for ceiling heights in a finish schedule. There are other rooms with blank values, however it appears that rooms that once had a ceiling can no longer have a blank value. From the research I've done it seems the only way to correct this may be to delete and recreate the room. Does anyone have any insight?

Thanks!

Jac

Not sure, but may I ask why you need it to be blank?

This would be at rooms and corridors where there is no ceiling, and the space is open to the structure above. It's our company standard to leave the ceiling height field blank in this circumstance and note that it is open. This is also how we've been noting it in the project up until now (pretty late in the project), and wouldn't want to just change it due to a software constraint.

Just so I'm sure I understand:

So, you used to have Ceilings, but deleted them, and now the Schedule won't allow a blank field?

If you delete the Room, and replace it, then it allows a blank field?

I've not run into this, but worst case is delete and replace the rooms.
