Bifold Door

Hello,

 

Somewhat new to Revit and was wondering if someone could please tell me how to get the dashed lines in the bifold door? Thank you vry much.

You have to edit the family and draw them.
1. Edit the family

Option a: in the plan view, just draw lines representing the folded doors, using symbolic lines (symbolic lines will be visible only in the view they are drawn). Of course you will have to deal with locking the geometry to the reference planes... and categorizing the lines you draw as "swing lines".
option b: create a separate family for the "swing" and nest it in the original door family and control its visibility. this second option depends on the way

Don't forget that you can also add a sub-category of lines in the door category specifically for the dashed lines and assign linetypes and colours to that sub-category. When you draw your symbolic lines you just change the line sub-category in the properties palette
