I agree that this is the best UI, too bad it is not supported.

I would love for Revit to go back to this UI every command is right there in your face. YOu don't have to go looking for your commands and they don't jump around.

The ribbon was a great idea for microsoft office but terrible idea for Revit.

i think the ribbon for revit
can be developed into a nice
option that many users would
be interested in..

the ribbon seems to work like
a third party add-on program
that overrides the native
revit interface..

there also seems to be no
problem switching the ribbon
on and off..

at the moment that switch is
the debug.ini- but that could
probably be put on both the
native interface and the ribbon..

this arrangement has the potential
to work out very very nicely for
the future of revit..
