Beams (Help)

Hi I'm having prolems with my beam systems and beams. I have no problems drawing the sketches ect. Once i've completed the sketch and the beams are in place, for some reason the beams don't go to the full extent of the sketch, they seem to be offset a certain dimension for some reason. I'm not sure how to correct this can someone please help, I have attatched an example.

Under Construction in the Element Properties for the beam you will see two parameters: Start Extension and End Extension. These two instance based parameters control the offset from the face of your columns. The negative value sets it away from the center of the column or face and a positive value will bring it closer to the center of the column or to the opposite side of the column.
