Hi
It is a never ending topic - automatic batt insulation in walls. Why is this so hard to implement in Revit?
I get bullied every day from the Archicad user because of this.
Come on Autodesk development it is now 2015 and we are on our way to mars !
Give us automatic batt insulation in walls.
Stefan
Thank you for your post. In this case I am sorry to read of the issues you, and other shave encountered with using the batt insulation families within Revit. Where there is always the room for improvement, I would first suggest this feedback be submitted to the Autodesk development team and product manager, guiding the changes and improvements within the product. I have included a link below with a direct means for capturing this feedback for improvements to the products. In this you would first select the Revit product from the drop down to then submit your feedback directly to the team. Again I do apologize for the limitation currently in the product and I would strongly urge you and any other member of the community leverage this link below. Thank you.

From 2015 till now we don't have this possibility! Also, your link doesn't have Revit.
I tried to have batt pattern but the result is like this!
The patern is this:

;%UNITS=INCH
*batt,batt insulation
;%TYPE=DRAFTING

The fact that Revit is unable to draw automatic batt insulation was one of the reasons why i left Revit and is now using Archicad 🙂

Then why do you still hang out here if you are using ArchiCAD? Go hang out at the ArchiTalk Forums instead.
Have fun with your layer priorities and layer map settings.
