Background doesn`t appear !

Hi,
I wanted to create a sky background for my model , so i went to visual style tab/ graphic display options/ background and choosed image then customize image and opened my sky image, then apply, then ok , but still the image didn`t appear in the background ! ( i checked visibility/graphics and it was ok ).

Any help....

My background doesn't show unless I have items drawn in the model.  If I delete all the items the image goes away until I place something in.

Also, make sure your image isn't too small and is hidden behind your model.

I think this is not the poblem because i tried to create the background for the same model on another computer and it worked ! , i think there is a problem in the software settings or something.
