Autodesk Revit 2015 Update Release 4 CAD doesn't work

Updated to the latest service pack (from ur3 to ur4) and am having issues. BOTH Cad and Revit 2015 are crashing even before opening the file. Anybody else experiencing this?

This happened to me yesterday.

When i click to run the software the "launch" window pops up but then i get the "Application has stopped working" message and it crashes. Every time. Tried a repair, un install/reinstall, system rollback and cant seem to fix it... yet.

I am currently in the process of trying some more in depth methods to fix it so ill keep you posted. Should know by today/tomorrow morning 🙂

Not sure what has caused it though :S

Cheers

Yeah, we are having that exact problem too. If you go to control panel, programs and features, view installed updates, and remove the CAD portion of the release 4, it should work. Again, I only removed the cad portion of 4th update and BOTH revit and CAD are functioning okay. Confirm if this works for you.

So nothing seems to fix this issue for me

Done a full clean un-install, removed regkeys and folders, removed absolutely everything to do with Autodesk from the computer, reinstalled at startup.

It seems to be crashing when checking the licence, so i tried DC the internet but same issue, still crashed at same point 😞

Ive removed some o the recent Windows updates, new graphics drivers, removed FlexNET files and nothing seems to work. I know it was working a fortnight ago so i think im going to do a system restore and see if it resolves the issue 😕

I did a little research and found that there is an error moving from
service pack two to service pack four amongst the autodesk community. I
have no solution on how to fix it. You've done everything I would have. I
hope they can find you a fix! Sorry for your troubles.
