The company I work for is very interested in using this cloud feature for rendering. We do not have any extra computers for rendering so when we do renderings I am stuck watching my computer render all day. So it would be perfect to be able to send our renderings to the cloud and still be able to use my computer. We are subscribers, but we do not have the correct subscription to qualify to do renderings in the cloud, nor do we have any need for most of programs you need to have to qualify. Is there any other way to use the cloud?
I believe you must have a Design SuitePremuim 2012 Subscription to have access to Cloud Rendering in Revit.
cheers
Hi Kate,
If you have Autodesk Design Suite or Autodesk Building Design Suite (the premium/ultimate editions) on Subscription, you get access to Autodesk Cloud rendering.
It's outlined here: http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/pc/index?siteID=123112&id=17570237
By doing renderings on the cloud, you can continue the work you're doing on your desktop and then get notified via e-mail when the rendering is done. How magical is that!
Here's where you can see the video and get more info: http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/pc/index?siteID=123112&id=17570228
Hope that helps,
Maria
