Typically the message that there is not enough space on the C drive is due to the Windows temp folder being too full. You can try the following:

Clear the folder out:

  1. Go Windows Start > Run and type in %temp%.
  2. Delete everything you can from this folder. Note that you won't be able to delete all of the files because some of them will be in use depending on what is running on your system.

If that doesn't help, you can try redirecting the temp folder:

  1. Right click on My Computer and go to Properties.
  2. In the System Properties dialog, click on the Advanced tab.
  3. Select the Environment Variables button. Here you can change the path of the folder that the temp files are directed to. You can create a new empty folder on your system and point the temp variables to it.

Please let us know how it goes!

hi,

first of all thanks for your answer.

unfortunatly it doesn't change anything, indeed i also make a new partition where i create a new folder and change the path of the this variable and i still have the same message that the folder don't have enough to create temporary files for revit...

just let you know that these files have been created in autocad 2011 revit on a windows xp sp3 64bits and i try to open these autocad files on a windows xp sp3 32 bits, don't know if there is any impact...thanks for you help

regards

When working on the BIM 360 file, the temp files are still stored in CollaborationCache folder in the C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Autodesk\Revit\Autodesk Revit 2019. I am unable to redirect it to other drives
