Are online classes a good option?

I really interested on learn revit but the site training is very expensive. are online classes a good option? or what other options? where can I Start?  (other than autodesk tutorials)

There are several good books out there that have been through enough enough releases to have the kinks worked out.  I'd suggest starting with Introducing Revit or Revit: No Experience Required.  After a little time under your belt, you might try Mastering Revit.  I don't believe that the 2012 versions have been published yet, but they should be close.  I haven't had a lot of luck with video training.
