I was told Revit can import ADT slabs, columns, walls, etc..., as themselves. I can't seem to do this. They import as an "imported" object, then when exploded, as lines. Any input out there?
yeah, they can come in as "solids" but wont retain any intelligence of the
object they were in ADT. An ADT column wont know what it is in Revit, other
than just another solid.
You may want to try exporting to IFC from ADT, and then import IFC in Revit
and see if that helps.

It doesn't work like that. You have to redraw it in Revit.

Any input?
Regarding wall imports, my ADT walls aren't even showing up as solid. they are a bunch of 3d lines. the only objects that imported into revit as solid are the 3dSolid objects. any suggestions?
be sure 'proxygraphics' are set to '1' in the dwg file before linking or
importing it.
