adding height of the wall in the wall schedule

 

How to add height of the wall (Discontinous) L -wall having doors. How to link the Unconnected height parameter (between levels) in th eWall Schedule

The height of the wall is not available in wall schedules. The only way to obtain the height value is by exporting the project to a database. In the Walls table, the unconnected height will be one of the fields. Otherwise, you would have to use some workarounds, for example: You have Area, and Length, but not Height. Then Area / Length will give you an approximation to the height. However, use this with caution, since this will not give you accurate results in some situations, such as in walls where their elevation profile has been edited, or their top edge has been attached to a roof.

I guess there is a work around 🙂

you can add in a new calculated value in the schedule with theformula Height = Volume/(Width*Length)
